It's becoming very common for people to hide content before reacting. Okay, if there are people who need this confirmation to live a happy life, so be it; there are even excellent contributors who do this. I also have no problem liking a good post, no problem at all.

However, the forum has two problems related to this. Every time you react, you need to refresh the page to see the content. There are topics where, without exaggeration, all 35 posts are hidden. Imagine liking, refreshing, viewing, liking, refreshing, viewing, 35 times. This is getting very annoying here.

And the other problem related to this is that after some time, I don't know exactly how long, the post becomes hidden again, so you need to remove the reaction, refresh, react again, and refresh again. Imagine doing this in a topic with 35 posts.

Would it be possible to take a look at this function and make it more dynamic?

Edited: now it's very more dynamic

This function needs to disappear. This is just like-begging (which is said as forbidden in the rules of the forum). If people need this much attention to live, they should look somewhere else to better their life.

back in the day forums did this with every link
to prevent mass reporting, bots leeching all the links

note the person commenting on the post is not exactly adding content to this site, and yes you can hide your profile, but you can't hide you post history from search.

a post gets 1% often less than 1% likes vs download counts, which doesn't matter if you are just copy/pasting links but there are people here who spend their own money on posts, to the tune of 100s of dollars. there are people who edit down content, improve quality and fix other issues with content that the creator cannot do, why can't they get more likes. a like is not a farmed item - it has no value - it is that old fashioned thanks.

the feature itself can be abused, but really the complaints are more indicative of a wider problem, that being internet culture has died.
people used to be rude and fight but generally agreed to some forum etiquette, now its almost entirely a ocean of leeches. for who the small act of reacting on a post is a major ask.

i like all the posts, for one really simple reason, like = i have seen the post.
i like posts even if i dont care for the content

i have access to the hide links feature, but i have never used it
the complains are ungrounded, and we are lucky this site doesn't require a reaction for every single link

The only thing that gets on my nerves with bumping of the threads , people will continue to bump threads that get the most content , what's the point of bumping threads if you are going to have content every single day.

Be prepared to replace saint2.cr domain name with turbovid.cr, automagically or whatever, because that site has changed name yesterday and I don't know how long saint2.cr will be active and/or will stop functioning along the new one.

why did my comment get a shit reaction? (not from you admin)
that user even has a warning for overusing it

this is the stuff that really just annoys users, why even have this reaction

i think you should add a drop down on the top with rules
I mean the area that has 'trending' find threads' 'watched' 'search forums' 'mark forums read' 'history' [ADD RULES HERE]

another feature i would like is the ability to flag threads as uninteresting, sometimes i just randomly click on an active thread from the latest posts section
looking for someone new and hot. it would be cool if i could ignore threads so they dont show, like people can ignore users

also, the tags could be used better and should be encouraged more. they help a lot when looking for specific types of girls
people use tags like the unique user name, or random things. tags should be more like blonde, german, goth etc.

A double icon issue (and how to fix it)

I can only assume this latest update has introduced the "stuttering icons" issue.
You know what I mean, this shit:

It seems like the latest XenForo update has injected SVG icon images into the previous icon tags which use FontAwesome. So now, we see double because we still have the pseudo-element font-face that FontAwesome makes use of, but then immediately after an SVG image of a similar icon.

Delving into the css, the culprit appear to be on the /css.php file on line 40. The following rule:
Code:
svg {
    display: none;
}
was nested inside the .far, .fa, .fas, .fab, .fal rule.
Of course that is an erroneous css that is being ignored by the browser (it is a valid scss code but it's meaningless in css).
To write it properly you need to delete those lines, and insert, where now is line 44 (just before the .fr-toolbar .fr-command.fr-btn i svg... rule) the following:

Code:
.far svg, .fa svg, .fas svg, .fab svg, .fal svg {
    display: none;
}

This will hide the SVG and show only the FontAwesome icons as always.

However...

Those SVG icon images are larger, and might be more suitable to the new look, and so you might want to do the opposite: stick with the larger SVG icons and hide the FontAwesome, and so in order to do that, add these rules instead:

Code:
.far.fa--xf::before,
.fa.fa--xf::before,
.fas.fa--xf::before,
.fab.fa--xf::before,
.fal.fa--xf::before {
    display: none;
}

Well no, I guess almost all users won't encounter that issue. Still my suggested fix was implemented so the backward comparability goes back to even older machines. Now no one should see doubles.

i get notifications that there's a new comment on the thread, but when i click it, it only shows me the first post on that page - no new comments. what's up with that? are people commenting in discussions that i can't see? example - potasticpanda thread
oh and upload images & videos button does nothing for me. not clickable.

I would assume that the comment got deleted in meantime.

It's crazy not having the option to delete a comment or content. Someone in the thread told the content owner the exact moment I posted the video here, and she already complained in the app. Since there's no way to delete it, I just removed the video and added a "link down".
