This post does not contain any content or files; it is a utility post aimed at improving the forum's development. I have decided to create a tool to enhance file management and ensure their longevity. Many users upload high-quality content, but it disappears or gets deleted/banned shortly after, almost immediately or within a few hours. This prevents all interested users from accessing it and leads to its loss, as it generally represents an effort for those who take the time to upload and share files. The quick deletion discourages people from contributing.
Specifically, I am talking about a platform widely used here for uploading and later sharing files, which is Gofile. This platform is one of the most utilized in this forum mainly because it offers excellent upload and download speeds, allows file previews, has no limits on the size of uploaded files, is not blocked by most countries or browsers, and provides a very good monthly bandwidth of 1 TB/month. The major drawback of this platform is that files last, at best, just over 10 days, and most are reported/deleted within a few hours.
In light of this problem, I have created a free tool hosted on the Huggingface platform, whose main goal is to back up the content from Gofile links to prevent it from being lost. Its use is very simple: we go to the Huggingface space, paste the Gofile link to be saved, and the tool downloads all the content and creates a backup on the Pixeldrain platform, ensuring more persistent and secure storage.
I have conducted a study on the advantages and disadvantages of this project:

Strengths
- Any forum user can use this tool for free to "save" these ephemeral Gofile links. The tool is available 24/7 and is accessible worldwide.
- There is no bandwidth consumption (1 TB/month) for users running the tool, as the bandwidth is covered by the Huggingface platform, along with file storage, RAM, and processing power.
- I have implemented a system that changes the file identification without affecting its integrity or content, protecting them from bans if they have previously been banned on Pixeldrain. This is known as ban hash.
- Unlimited storage, since Pixeldrain has no storage limit. It simply restricts the number of files stored to 10,000. But when that happens, I will think of something to continue using this tool if you like it.
- The tool has a log/history to check all the Gofile links that have been processed, as well as the alternative URL where they are now backed up. It also has a duplicate log so that if someone wants to back up a previously backed-up Gofile link, it can indicate that and not be processed, saving time for users and the file storage limit.
- It is true that the links last a minimum of 60 days, which can be extended if they are actively downloaded. Although this is much better than just a few hours or days, the availability of the files will not be eternal, even though it will considerably improve the availability and manner of sharing files among forum users.
- Pixeldrain limits, such as the 6 GB download per day, apply and affect users, making this a negative point. However, if you have a Premium or paid account on Pixeldrain, this may not be an issue for some.
- Gofile backup limit of 1 TB/month. If a backup exceeds 1 TB, I suppose the tool will stop functioning until the beginning of the new month when this limit resets.
