Part of the problem for me is the shaky camera and CGI in new action movies is completely nauseating, there are very few exceptions (Zahler movies, Nobody, Old Henry, Hacksaw Ridge... that's all off the top of my head but I'm sure there's others I didn't see)

Yeah shaky cam is a big issue in Hollywood movies, there are a lot of good foreign action movies out there though. I think Hollywoods problem is they always get actors that have no clue about fight choreography meaning stunt doubles which obviously is the reason behind all of the shakiness and the jump cuts

I started the new "The Boys" season yesterday. But I honestly think some scenes are just plain over the top. The previous seasons stroke a better balance... but we'll see how the next episodes are. Just watched the first 2.

Does BCS hold up to Breaking Bad? I remember trying the first season when it came out but I couldn't get into it. Then again, I said the same thing about Breaking Bad...
